Another day, another McCalls 7563 off the shoulder dress! This is now my third make of this dress (you can view the Jungle Book version here) and I love how breezy it feels for walking around the parks. I’ve held onto this fabric for awhile and finally decided to make something I knew I’d love.
MCCALLS 7563 PATTERN INFORMATION AND SEWING MODIFICATIONS
PATTERN: McCalls 7563, View C (with modifications – see below!) – you can buy it here. FABRIC: 100% Cotton from Joann MODIFICATIONS: I shortened the hemline a few inches by adding a wide hem – it’s just something I like the look of for this dress. I also omitted the straps. For the sleeves, I used the pattern from View A. Instead of adding elastic, I just hemmed about 1.5″ to keep the wider shape!
