Welcome to my first ‘behind-the-design’ blog post! This dress will be available as a style to order (soon!) but I wanted to break down my modifications and changes I made to this pattern (McCalls 7563) in case you were feelin’ like trying it out yourself!

PATTERN: McCalls 7563, View C (with modifications – see below!) – you can buy it here.
FABRIC: 100% Cotton
MODIFICATIONS: I shortened the hemline a few inches by adding a wide hem – it’s just something I like the look of for this dress 🙂 I also omitted the straps. At the time of writing this blog, I’ve already made another version of this dress (oops!) and hemmed about 1.5″ instead, which I think I prefer.
DRESS: Made By Me!
SANDALS: Madewell (old)
